This policy explains what personal data Rheostat, Inc. collects on this website and in the product, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to visitors, customers and the people they invite. Last updated 1 September 2026.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, work email, company and role when you sign up or book a demo.
- Usage data: which pages and features you use, so we can see what helps and what does not.
- Customer data: the flags, traces and evaluations your workspace sends us. We process these only on your instructions.
- Billing data: handled by our payment provider; we never see full card numbers.
Why we use it
To run the service you signed up for, to keep it secure, to answer your support requests and, if you agree, to send you product news. We do not sell personal data and we do not use customer data to train models.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and count visits to this website. There are no advertising cookies. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Where your data lives
Customer data stays in the region you choose when you create a workspace: the EU, the US or Asia Pacific. Account data is stored in the EU. Transfers outside your region use standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as your account is open. Customer data is deleted within 30 days of the end of your contract, and backups within a further 60 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to how we use it. Email privacy@rheostat.dev and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
